How to apply?

To receive a decision as quickly as possible, you are advised to apply online on the internet on the website of the Swedish Migration Agency. However, you may still need to visit a Swedish Embassy or Consulate during the application process.

Lebanese citizens, applicants legally residing in Lebanon (holding a valid residence permit in Lebanon) and Stateless persons residing in Syria can be interviewed at the Embassy's Migration office in Starco Building, Block A in Beirut. If you have submitted an online application for a residence permit, you can schedule an appointment after the Swedish Migration Agency has asked you to do so. The Embassy of Sweden in Beirut's Migration Office handles questions regarding residence permits. To book an appointment, fill in the form that you find here. Shortly after filling in the electronical form, you will receive an e-mail from the Embassy with a date for an appointment.
