Permit Decision

The Embassy in Ottawa can only inform you if a decision is positive or negative. No decision documents can be sent via e-mail nor can the reasons be discussed over the phone.

The full decision document can be received in two ways:

  • Visit the Embassy during our visiting hours, Mon - Fri 9 am - 12 pm.
  • Send a pre-paid return envelope to the Embassy, together with the following information: name, case number and request for decision document.

Please note that the decisions from the Migration Agency are written in Swedish only and Canadian citizens do not need this document to enter Sweden.
