Interview

For some residence permit applications an interview is necessary. The interview can only be done at the Embassy in Ottawa and a personal visit to the mission is required. The interview cannot be conducted via telephone, video or Skype.

When you have received a request from the Migration Agency to conduct an interview, please contact the Embassy in Ottawa via  e-mail to book an appointment.

Please bring your passport and other documents as specified in the booking confirmation email. Children applying will also need to attend. During the interview you will need to answer questions about your relationship with the person in Sweden and/or the purpose of your visit to Sweden.
