Visiting Sweden

The Embassy of Sweden has the visa representation agreements with Finland, Iceland, Slovenia, Belgium, Latvia, Poland, Luxembourg and the Netherlands.

Visa applicants are reminded to apply for Schengen visas through the Embassy of Sweden ONLY if the main purpose of the trip is travel to Belgium, Finland, Iceland, Latvia, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Poland, Slovenia or Sweden.

If you want to visit Sweden or any of the countries that Sweden represents and are a citizen of a non-EU country, you may need a visa. A visa is a permit to travel to and stay in a country for a maximum of 90 days during a period of 180-days.

Citizens from the following countries/territories require a visa when entering the Schengen area.
