Sweden decided to re-establish a window for bilateral development cooperation with Armenia
In 2019, in response to the democratization process and the strong political will to undertake necessary reforms in the country, Sweden re-established its bilateral development cooperation with Armenia.
In the recently adopted regional reform cooperation strategy for Eastern Europe 2021-2027 there will be four main areas of cooperation: human rights, democracy, the rule of law and gender equality peaceful and inclusive societies, environmentally and climate-sustainable development and sustainable use of natural resources and Inclusive economic development.
