What we cannot do
- We cannot influence entry and exit provisions of other countries if you are denied entry or exit.
- We do not provide general tourist information or arrange housing or subsistence abroad.
- We do not offer any banking, interpreting or translation services.
- If you are arrested by police or are detained abroad, we cannot arrange special treatment because you are Swedish. The laws in the country you are in always apply.
- We do not pay debts, bail, fines or lawyer costs.
- We cannot interfere in the legal proceedings of other countries.
- The Ministry for Foreign Affairs does not pay for repatriation of a coffin/urn in the event of a death abroad.
