What we can help you with
The Ministry for Foreign Affairs and Sweden’s embassies are responsible for providing consular services – advice and support – to Swedes abroad in various emergency situations. Our consular services are based on the Swedish consular regulatory framework and are provided equitably and in a legally certain manner irrespective of where you are in the world.
Circumstances and regulations vary from country to country and can sometimes influence how the consular mandate is carried out. Remember that personal responsibility is key when travelling abroad.
