Swedes in need of consular assistance can contact the Embassy of Sweden in Dublin. See contact details at the bottom of the page.

The Embassy can assist with the following:

  • Application for coordination number
  • Emergency passports (for applications for ordinary passports, the Embassy kindly refers to the police authority in Sweden or a Swedish Embassy authorised for ordinary passport services)
  • Forms for renewal of driver's licenses
  • Collection of passports, national ID cards, and driver's licenses issued in Sweden
  • Consular matters
  • Assisting Swedish citizens who have been deprived of liberty
  • Life Certificate
  • Death notifications for Swedish citizens who have passed away in Ireland
