Life certificate

If you live outside Sweden and receive a pension from the Swedish Pensions Agency or compensation from the Swedish Social Insurance Agency, you need to provide a life certificate every year. The easiest way to do this is on the web.

The information provided by you in the life certificate will ensure that you are receiving the compensation you are entitled to.

Every summer the Swedish Pensions Agency therefore sends out a letter with a life certificate to anyone who beforehand cannot be identified electronically.

You can use your swedish electronic ID and digitally approve your life certificate for faster service. By doing it digitally, you don't have to wait for the form to be sent to you.

If you do not have an electronic ID, and don't want to wait for the form to be sent to you, you can print it from the Swedish Pension Agencies website and then have it signed and stamped by an authorised agency.
