Travel to Bosnien och Hercegovina

Emergency passport

If you have lost your regular passport you may apply for an emergency passport. This passport is printed in A4-format and is valid for a single trip close in time. You should account for the length of the trip and be able to show a plane ticket if applicable. You must yourself control that the country you're entering or travelling via accepts a Swedish Emergency passport in A4-format. You can obtain this information by contacting the country´s Embassy, their border police or check with your travel agency.

The following is required for an application of an Emergency passport:

  • Visiting the Embassy in person
  • Police report if the passport is stolen
  • A valid ID
  • For applicants under the age 18 a form of consent from all legal guardians 

  • Fees are paid via card payment in local currency to the Embassy at the time of the visit.
