Accept all Only criticalA provisional passport is issued directly upon application and is issued for a single journey to Sweden or the country of residence, but can in some cases be issued for a specific trip to another country, however, for a maximum of seven months. You must prove your need for a provisional passport by showing a ticket or a booking.

You are responsible to ensure that the country you intend to visit accepts Swedish provisional passports. Please also keep in mind that your regular passport will be revoked, if it is still valid, when you apply for a provisional passport.
