Applications for residence and work permit

Citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina have until now turned to the Swedish Embassy in Sarajevo for applications for residence and work permit. As from March 10, 2025, the Embassy in Sarajevo will no longer handle migration related matters.

This means that when you have submitted your application for residence and work permit after March 10, 2025, you should contact the Embassy of Sweden in Skopje, North Macedonia, for interview, passport check, biometrics etcetera.

The same applies for those who are not citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina but legally resides there.

To book an appointment for interview, passport check or to leave your biometrics you should contact the Embassy of Sweden in Skopje. Contact information can be found via the link below.
