The threat to Sweden and Swedish interests abroad was already classed as heightened. In light of the fact that two Swedes have been killed in Brussels following a terrorist act, Swedes abroad are encouraged to exercise increased caution and vigilance, and follow the advice of local authorities. Swedes abroad are also encouraged to register on the list of Swedish citizens abroad, and download the UD Resklar app and activate push notifications for the country in question.
Register on the list of Swedish citizens abroad (only in Swedish)The Embassy of Sweden in Tbilisi invites applications for the position of a Financial Officer with temporary contract starting 17 June 2024 until August 2025. There is a possibility to prolong to a permanent position. The employment will be in accordance with the Embassy’s Locally Engaged Staff Terms and Conditions. The position is full time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 9:00 -18: 00 and Friday 09:00-15:30

Congratulations on the marriage! The embassy does not certify with a stamp. After getting married, send in a certified copy of the marriage certificate to the Swedish Tax Agency. If you have married a person who has never been registered in Sweden, it is good to also show a copy of your spouses passport to the Swedish Tax Agency.
